Mission Swayam Siddha
In keeping with PBWA’s primary objective of taking up social initiatives to make a difference, the organization initiated a movement called Mission Swayam Siddha (MSS) in 2007, for the underprivileged section of the society, with the objective to empower economically and socially disadvantaged women of our society.
MSS’s core program is to recruit, train and motivate an increasing number of women to work for MSS to achieve significant improvements in their overall living standards and social standing in life. During the Durgotsav, the products made by MSS trainees are exhibited and sold to the visitors to reach out to a wider section and motivate them to be a part of this nobel cause of women empowerment.
Since its inception from a chawl at Gautam Nagar, MSS has grown in scale and impact due to the untiring and uncompromising efforts of a team of PBWA volunteers with products made by trainees currently being sold under the MSS brand through various corporate and standalone exhibitions throughout the year.
