Goddess Durga was created to combat the evil demon Mahishasura. The trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva came together to create a powerful female form with ten arms. When Durga emerged from the waters of the holy Ganga as a spirit, she was given a physical form by all the gods put together.

দেবী দুর্গার সৃষ্টি হয়েছিল মহিষাসুরের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করার জন্য। ব্রহ্মা, বিষ্ণু এবং শিবের ত্রিমূর্তি একত্রিত হয়ে দশ বাহু বিশিষ্ট একটি শক্তিশালী নারী রূপ তৈরি করেছিলেন। যখন দুর্গা পবিত্র গঙ্গার জল থেকে আত্মা রূপে আবির্ভূত হন, তখন সমস্ত দেবতা মিলে তাকে একটি শারীরিক রূপ দেন।
